The Alpha S001 Solar Sun & Wind Sensor adds automatic environmental control to compatible Alpha WSER Series motors, allowing motorised systems to respond to changing sunlight and wind conditions without requiring constant manual operation.

The sensor combines both sun and wind detection in one outdoor unit. Users can select from 5 wind-speed settings and 9 light-intensity settings, allowing the response to be adjusted according to the installation and desired operating conditions.

When both functions are enabled, wind takes priority over sun, helping ensure the wind response overrides a sun-triggered command when the programmed wind threshold is reached.

5 Programmable Wind-Speed Settings

The S001 provides five selectable wind-speed settings.
