The Alpha WSCMU-DC-2.0 Curtain Motor is the rechargeable configuration of Alpha’s versatile WSCMU curtain motor system.
The WSCMU uses the same motor across its AC and DC configurations, with interchangeable battery and power packs allowing the system to be changed between rechargeable DC and powered AC operation.
The DC version features a 3200mAh, 11.1V rechargeable battery pack with convenient 5V USB-C charging. Alpha specifies a charging time of approximately 7–8 hours.
The motor provides 2Nm of torque and Alpha specifies a 50kg pulling capacity for the WSCMU system.
An electronic limit switch, built-in receiver and automatic limit setting provide convenient setup and control. Soft start and soft stop provide smoother curtain movement, while quiet operation helps minimise operating noise.
Touch and tug control allow the curtain to initiate motorised movement through manual interaction. The curtain can also be drawn manually by hand if power is unavailable.
A third intermediate limit position provides an additional preset curtain position.
