Alpha WSEC Universal 240V Motors Alpha WSEC motors are hard-wired 240V tubular motors designed for compatible motorised blind, awning and window covering applications. Unlike the mechanically limited WSS series, WSEC motors use electronic limit adjustment to establish the motor’s upper and lower stopping positions. The WSEC range also supports parallel wiring, providing additional flexibility when designing compatible wired motor installations. Different WSEC models provide different torque ratings and motor sizes to suit applications ranging from roller blinds through to larger external straight-drop systems. WSEC motors do not have the built-in radio receiver found in Alpha WSER radio motors, so the required control system should be considered as part of the installation. Motor selection depends on the application, roller tube, required torque, wiring and control configuration. Check each individual WSEC motor product page for specifications and suitability before ordering.
